Samson Riders MC Patch Ceremony

Samson in the Bible was the twelfth and last judge mentioned in the Book of Judges. Samson was raised as a Nazarite of God, and as long as his Nazariteship was kept, God granted him supernatural strength, which he used to strike down the Philistines, who ruled southern Israel throughout his term of leadership. Samson is a model of courage and strength.

Samson's Riders MC is a registered Harley-Davidson motorcycle club whose symbols are those of the hero Samson. Samson's Riders MC is the only motorcycle club in the world whose initiation ceremony is held at the grave of a biblical hero, namely the grave of Samson and his father Manoah in the Zorah Forest near the city of Beit Shemesh.

The ceremony of receiving the "club colors" and the patch is held in a unique prayer of the club which uses the sayings of the hero Samson. The new club member places his hands on the grave of Samson and Manoah as the other club members in a line hold their hands on the shoulder of the member in front of them, from the club president who stands at the end and blesses through the sergeant to the new member who holds the graves.
